Discover the beauty of Central Portugal in an active way! In cooperation with Rock and River Quinta do Pinheiro Manso are offering you an active week in the beautiful nature of central Portugal. You can enjoy several outdoor events like archery, kayaking, rock climbing, abseiling and GPS Walking.
Learn to know the different sports or refresh your experience and abilities. All activities are under experienced guidance, in small groups and can be joined by everyone. You don't need experience, the program will be made just for you.

PROGRAM
 Day 1
We will pick you up from the Porto airport and bring you to Quinta do Pinheiro Manso where you find a nice bed in one of our comfortable holiday homes.(http://www.quintadopinheiromanso.com)
Day 2
You can make your own breakfast and lunch from the shopping box that you'll find in your holiday home. In the morning there is time to relax and look around on the Quinta. In the afternoon we'll go archery, with Matt and Maria from Rock and River.
Diner will be served on the Quinta while watching the sunset.
Day 3
After breakfast Matt and Maria will pick you up for a day on the water. The kayak brings you to the most beautiful spots on the river Mondego. You can bring your lunch made from your shopping box. At the end of the day there will be a barbecue somewhere on a nice place nearby the river.
Day 4
After breakfast we will guide you through the secrets of GPS walking. You can use one of our GPS and practice. Lunch will be provided at the Quinta and in the afternoon we'll go out for a walk. You can practice in GPS-walking and ask all your questions.
In case you are an experienced GPS-walker, we have several hiking trips ready for you.
For dinner we are going out to a nice Portugese restaurant in the neighbourhood.
Day 5
After breakfast we'll go by car, approximately one hour, to Loriga, a small town in the Serra da Estrela. There begins a very spectacular GPS-walk. You'll walk about 4 to 5 hours. You can bring your lunch made from your shopping box.
Dinner will be served at the Quinta.
Day 6
This day is your day off and you can do whatever you like. There is a possibility to go horse riding, mountain biking or hiking. Visit a city like for example Coimbra or just sit down and relax and read a book.
On your request we can make dinner for you at the Quinta or arrange transport for you.
Day 7
After breakfast you will be picked up by Matt and Maria for a day of rock climbing and abseiling in the Serra da Estrela. All the equipment is supplied and you can bring your lunch from your shopping box.
For dinner we are going out and eat in a Portugese restaurant in the neighbourhood.
Day 8
Lunch will be served at the Quinta and after that we are going to bring you to Porto airport.
