Introduction: Whilst looking for a ruin to develop in Central Portugal we stumbled upon this hidden valley on Cabril Lake which had remained untouched for over 60 years. The moment we stepped foot on the land we fell in love with the vivid colours and melodic sounds of nature as well as the tranquility of this rare and privileged location in a designated 'Eco Zone'. Since arriving at Cabril Lake we have been able to experience the healing benefits of living within nature, drinking fresh spring water and eating locally grown food. We would now like to extend this opportunity to all seeking a retreat from day to day living, creating a welcoming and secluded space with delicious vegan/vegetarian meals and eco amenities provided so that you can relax, rest and rejuvenate within the tranquility of Cabril Lake.
