Introduction: Camping in nature with the comfort of an hotel room. Located in the hills of a Nature Parc in the Southwest Alentejo, not far from the wild coastline with it's beautiful beaches. Sleep in our fully decorated Safaritent, Yurt or Tipi, each with it's own bathroom and kitchen and a terrace with a spectacular view.
Full Description: First, you come to Portugal Nature Lodge for Portugal Nature Lodge itself. All tents are beautifully decorated and provided with everything you need. There is a lot of privacy, which makes that you can really feel surrounded by nothing but nature, but with everything you might need at hand. Lying in your hammock or sitting in a comfortable chair on your terrace, there's not much you can think of that is more important than just relaxing and enjoying the wonderful view over the hills of the Parque Natural. Second, there's enough to do in the area if you want to. There are plenty of hiking and walking possibilities that start at your tent. Through the cork oak and eucalyptus covered hills and along the river Mira. Or along it's side river, the Torgal, to the hidden paradise of Pego das Pias. Walk through the traditional Alentejan village and have a drink at one of the cafes to see village life pass by. And of course you want to see the wild coastline of Southwest Portugal, where the huge atlantic waves hit the black cliffs. With so many small sandy amazing beaches, some hard to reach and always quiet, others easy to reach with more people, but never packed. You can walk here for hours without getting tired of the spectacular views, or just relax on a beach, watch the waves, take a dip or try riding the waves on a surfboard. Portugal Nature Lodge is not too far from the Algarve or from Lisbon, so a daytrip to one of these (or both) can be part of your itinery. Click Here to go to the Website
