Wildside Holidays is an innovative website which aims to introduce nature orientated individuals to businesses offering specialized, environmentally aware, activity and nature holidays across Spain and Portugal. Here at Wildside Holidays you will find many different businesses and operators offering an amazing variety of nature-based breaks in both Spain and Portugal, from peaceful yurts in central Portugal, self-catering accommodation within natural parks of the Alentejo, to snow-shoeing in the Picos de Europa.
 The website was devised by Clive Muir and Sue Eatock in order to create an internet community dedicated to promoting businesses specializing in nature orientated holidays in Iberia. In fact, many of the businesses advertising on the website are also involved themselves in various protection schemes and study programs in their area, as well as supporting their local community and economy.
If you want to promote your business, hotel or accommodation then Wildside Holidays is definitely the place to be. Just send us an email or use the registration system and we'll get your page online very quickly. There are an increasing number of individuals opting for alternative-style tourism, preferring rural retreats to chaotic cities, and nature to noise and visitors to our pages are increasing all the time. The website has been running since December 2006 and is placed well in search engine results for a variety of nature holiday related search words and phrases. We are constantly looking at ways to improve our services and welcome any suggestions or comments.
 We both share a passion for wildlife and the environment and are based in the beautiful Sierra de Grazalema in Andalucia, a protected natural park area famous for its bio diversity and scenery from high mountain peaks to large lakes, orchards and arable land to Mediterranean scrub.
Having spent the last 12 years exploring the natural wonders that Spain and Portugal have to offer and now spend our time running the "Wildside Holidays project" which includes the research and publishing of specific articles on wildlife species and nature parks for the nature information pages.
Eventually we aim to publish information pages and images on as many wildlife species as possible. and the articles are written in an easy to understand way including high quality images for easier identification. Hopefully this part of our site makes accessible the nature, wildlife and diversity of Iberia to everybody and will be a well used resource by anyone interested in the nature of Iberia.
